Sutton-in-the-Elms

Nestled away in the small village of Sutton-in-the-Elms near Broughton Astley, Leicestershire we are a quiet, peaceful Home that offers a warm and friendly welcome to our residents and their families.

The Home was converted from barns and retains many original features but we are also equipped to offer an exceptionally high standard of care, with qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day.

All of our bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and have en-suite facilities. When it comes to relaxing and socialising, our three lounges provide a lovely, comfortable place to unwind or enjoy some of the daily entertainment and activities such as bingo, quizzes, entertainers and demonstrations.

Whilst on warmer days you can enjoy a stroll through the peaceful village of Sutton-in-the-Elms or take a rest in one of our two courtyard gardens.

Sutton-in-the-Elms is a Care Home with Nursing.

The Home was once part of the Manor Farm and was converted into a bespoke Care Home in 1997. Extreme care was taken during the renovation to create an ideal environment for care, giving wide doors and corridors for good wheelchair access and no steps, whilst retaining many of the original features such as oak beams and brick walls.
The Home is registered to provide care for up to 40 residents of both sexes and all faiths. Most of our residents are over 65 but we are registered to take people over the age of 55 years.
We can also care for residents with dependent physical needs such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. Whether our residents are looking for a period of respite care or a longer-term stay, the Home is dedicated to creating a safe and happy environment for all of our residents and peace-of-mind for their family and friends.
