Description: St. Gregory’s have been providing first class Care to the local community for over 30 years

A former Vicarage, circa 1853, our buildings have been developed into a purpose built facility providing a family environment  which is the key to the ethos here at St. Gregory’s.
Set in half an acre of gardens and lawns with plenty of parking, we offer a peaceful, quiet setting.

A family run Care Home since 1985, we were asked by local families G.P.’s, District Nurses and Hospitals to consider the provision of a Nursing facility so this we have done during early 2016. We offer an experienced team of local Staff Nurses to both help and support our loyal competent Healthcare team. We provide optimal Care that provides our Clients with the best possible outcomes.

Care and Support is available 24/7 for all of our Clients, particularly those that need specific Nursing Care.

  • We have a team of Local Qualified Nurses and Care Staff that are able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • We pride ourselves on our length of service to the Community as well as our family environment.
  • Our Registered Nursing Staff have been recruited so that we benefit from their previous experience within the Community as well as their work in Local Hospitals and as part of the District Nursing Team. The majority of our team of Care Staff have been with us for many years and often they have their own family working here at St. Gregory’s House which speaks volumes about the TEAM which has been developed over three decades.
  • Our accommodation is able to offer Clients complete privacy or the option to integrate with other Clients and benefit from the company of others at St. Gregory’s House.

We offer both short-term and long-term Care and encourage Families to visit at any time.

  • Palliative Care, where recovery is unlikely as a Client reaches the final stages of their life has been a major feature of our

work at St. Gregory’s for over the last 30 years. We respect all the needs of Clients needing Palliative Care and welcome

the opportunity to help and be involved with the needs of Families and of course Friends during this often difficult time.

  • All spiritual and religious preferences are respected and we encourage a multi-faith approach to any communal gathering.

We understand the emotion and stress that occurs when a Client nears the end of their life and our skills and our specialist

Care enable us to provide positive support at a very important time.
