Formerly an hotel built in Edwardian style, St. Anselm’s has been sympathetically restored and refurbished to provide elegant accommodation with every modern facility and medical appliance to promote independence, comfort and dignity. It stands in its own attractive grounds, and has views across an ancient meadow to the unspoilt beach at Walmer and the Dover Straits, and to Walmer Castle.
St. Anselm’s offers single and double accommodation, each room having thermostatically controlled radiators, television point and nurse call system. The Home has a passenger lift alighting on five levels, allowing step-free access.
The light and airy dining room is centrally located, providing a calm, peaceful environment. Our chefs provide a balanced diet and offer a daily choice of menus whilst accommodating any special dietary or cultural requirements.
The lounge has a colour television, DVD and stereo facilities, and leads onto a light conservatory with views of the surrounding garden. The Home is fully carpeted throughout with carefully co-ordinated colour schemes.
All rooms have a delightful view of the grounds with access to two of the lawn areas.
The Home has a dedicated quiet area, where residents can meet and socialise with family and friends in private, or spend reflective time alone.
