Bramble House

Bramble House is a family owned care home in the centre of Gloucester, registered to provide personal care for 29 older people who have dementia.

We are committed to the provision of person-centred quality care for our residents as well as support and advice for their loved ones. The home is continuously being refurbished and our passion is to provide a warm, homely and friendly environment for our residents.

Our staff are professional, committed and friendly, they all receive regular training with a dementia specific focus. In order to meet the needs of our residents, we pride ourselves on our knowledge of dementia and work closely with dementia experts. As a result we have introduced small group living, themed areas, colour coding and memory boxes, all of which are designed to help our residents maintain their independence.

Central to our ethos is to promote equality, to respect our residents as individuals, to uphold their rights to make their own choices, to respect their privacy and to maintain their dignity at all times. We have a full-time Activities Coordinator whose role is to help our residents maintain hobbies, relationships with friends and families and with the local community. All residents are given the opportunity to participate in activities both in-house and also outside of the Home. For those friends and family who need it, we are also happy to offer support and advice if they need it. .
