Ashcott Lawns Residential Home is situated in the village of Ashcott lying in the Poldens between Street and Bridgwater. Ashcott represents a typical peaceful countryside village whilst maintaining many local amenities including a village shop and post office, church, and several public houses.

The village of Street is only three miles away with the famous Clarks Village shopping oulet boasting in excess of ninety oulets including shops and restaurants.

Ashcott Lawns is a family operated concern established in 1988 specialising in residential care and respite care for the elderly person. The building is grade two listed with all original features remaining and has been adapted with careful consideration to maintain the atmosphere of a family home.

NEW WING NOW OPEN: We are pleased to announce that we have just completed the new extension wing at Ashcott Lawns. We are now able to offer two luxury bedrooms on the first floor complete with en suite shower wet rooms. The new extension has a large lounge on the ground floor. Permanent Residential Care.

Ashcott Lawns offers total reassurance for those requiring permanent residential care. Individual care requirements can be met in full to deliver a tailor made person centered approach.However great or small your personal needs may be you will be in good hands with our friendly and fully trained team of care staff day and night.Our philosophy is our home is your home, actively encouraging you to remain as independant as you wish to fulfill your life.

Respite Care

Ashcott Lawns is able to offer short or long term respite care.This is especially useful for those who normally care for their friends and loved ones to take a short break with the complete reassurance that the individual will receive total care whilst they are away.

Day Care

Ashcott Lawns is able to provide day care to individuals as often as required. Many take advantage of this facility in coming to join us for the day, this may involve some assistance with having a shower or bath, sampling our nutricious home cooked food and participation in activities provided by the home. Day care usually commences around 10am and finishing at 5.30pm. We find that day care is ideal for meeting new friends and contacts.
