Caring Hands (Wiltshire)
Caring Hands (Wiltshire) is located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside on a small family run working farm, Caring Hands (Wiltshire) provides residential/respite care for elderly clients. Respite clients are accommodated in their own respite room, with en-suite facilities, within the quiet family home. Residential Care
Caring Hands (Wiltshire) can provide up to four permanent residential placements in their purpose built residential care home at Battle Lake Farm. Before taking a permanent resident at Battle Lake Farm, CHW will complete a holistic assessment to ensure that CHW can meet the individual’s needs. A 4 week trial will then be undertaken and if both parties are happy after the trial period a residential placement will be offered and a contract agreed for residential care.
All of the rooms in the Residential Care home are single occupancy with en-suite facilities. Each room is furnished to a high standard with electric bed and ceiling track hoist for future needs, overlooking the countryside of Braydon.
There is a communal Garden Room and purpose built Wet Room with disabled facilities, wheelchair accessible, all on the ground level. There is a call system in place, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
Please note, nursing care is not provided, please see our Statement of Purpose for more information.
A carers relief sitting service has been introduced at Battle Lake Farm. This enables carers to attend appointments, family events and have a break from their caring role. Direct payment to Wiltshire Council will be accepted for this service.
