Chestnut Grove Rest Home is registered for eleven residents by the Care Quality Commission and is fully compliant with all regulations. Chestnut Grove presently has an ‘Outstanding rating with the CQC.
Chestnut Grove Rest Home is situated along a private drive in a quiet residential area of Lostock Hall. It is only two minutes drive from the M6, the M65 and the M62 motorways. Preston and Leyland are easily reached by car or public transport.
The philosophy of care is that each resident can be sure that their rights to privacy, dignity and freedom of choice will be respected at all times and that they will be valued as a special and unique individual in the home.

Mary Kneen is the proprietor/manager and takes great care to ensure that a friendly, loving and efficient service is given to all residents.

At Chestnut Grove, we are confident that we provide the highest standard of loving cars in a safe, comfortable and relaxed environment, by the efficient, friendly and caring staff. There is always a Manager/Senior Care Staff on duty. The Deputy Managers and all Senior Care Staff have a NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION. The home has a SILVER INVESTOR IN PEOPLE AWARD.
Accommodation
The spacious lounge with Satellite TV area overlooks a large lawn garden which is bordered by a Chestnut tree and shrubs. The gardens are easily accessible with plenty of garden furniture
Furnishings and décor throughout the home is to a high standard. There are twelve single rooms. All rooms offer comfort and privacy, and residents are encouraged to personalise their own room as they wish
Accommodation is on two floors. The second floor can be accessed by using a stair lift. To access the main staircase, there are three steps to the landing making this particular floor unsuitable for wheelchair users.
