Heather Brookfield is the registered nursing manager and prides herself on providing a homely and friendly atmosphere, and the house’s dedication to all its residents.
Accommodating both male and females, Elm House Nursing Home can accommodate up to 32 residents in accordance with our registration.
All our rooms have ensuite facilities, comfortable electronic nursing beds, a television and furniture. Rooms can be personalised with your own furniture and fixtures to help create a more comfortable and homely environment.

Our onsite maintenance man, John, is available to help fit shelves and picture hooks in resident’s rooms as requested.
There are 2 of beautiful communal rooms, compromising of comfortable sitting and dining room with a conservatory, which enjoy views onto the front of the home. There are televisions in both the main lounge and the garden lounge and there is also a good selection of books, tapes and DVD’s for individual or group enjoyment. We are also very proud of our new dining room and lounge area looking out onto our beautifully landscaped garden
The garden is accessible from the garden lounge to the rear of the building and can be enjoyed from within the home when the patio doors are open, bringing light and the gentle sounds of nature to the relaxed homely environment.
