Waverley Lodge Nursing Home for Young Physically Disabled

Built in 1998 this 26 bed nursing home sits in 12 acres of magnificent gardens. Waverley Lodge provides specialist nursing care for young physically disabled, palliative and respite care for Clients from 18 years and over.

A daily programme of activities is undertaken to reflect a younger and more active resident.

Amenities

Waverley Lodge sits in the same landscaped grounds as Dunwood Manor. It has a large lounge, separate dining area, computer room and beauty treatment room. We have a mix of specialist bathrooms and shower rooms which cater for our clients needs.

In warmer weather residents can sit out in the attractive gardens or on our new ‘decked’ balcony and enjoy the views over the spectacular country side.

Activities

Regular trips are organized to the local town, shops, bowling alley, football and pubs as well as the theatre and cinema. Waverley Lodge in addition to the mini bus has a single person vehicle for individual outings.

Within the home individual and group activities are organized on a regular basis.
