Dunwood Manor

Dunwood Manor is situated just outside Romsey. This stately country house sits in 12 acres of beautiful gardens.

The home has two independent wings designed to cater for different Resident needs.

Beeches – offers a secure wing and gardens for Residents 60 years and over with Dementia.

Willows – offers general nursing care, respite and specialist palliative care to Residents 60 years and above.

Amenities

Dunwood Manor has recently been extensively refurbished and now has 2 dining rooms and 2 lounge areas plus a quiet lounge. The spacious bedrooms are light and airy and some benefit from a private decked area. We have a mix of specialist bathrooms and shower rooms and a changing menu of freshly prepared dishes is produced in the homes kitchen on a daily basis. There are lush gardens both open and secure and a large gazebo, which can be enjoyed in the warmer weather.

Activities

Our activities co-ordinator organises individual and group entertainment within the home and mini bus trips are also run to varying venues outside the home.

Hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, dental and optical services are all available within the home.

Personnel

Dunwood Manor is renowned for the standard of nursing care practiced within the home.

An ongoing staff development and training provision ensure that our Residents are supported and cared for by a skilled and knowledgeable work force.
