Description:
Ifield Park Care Home
Ifield Park is an Exempt Charity and is registered with the FSA as a non-profit making Friendly Society. The home is set in 5 acres of beautiful grounds at the western edge of Crawley. We provide a professional and caring home for up to 94 residents in our four homes on site: a 34 bed nursing home, a 30 bed elderly/frail residential home and a 30 bed home for people with Dementia.
We provide a variety of services including day care at Hoyland House and short stay/respite care, subject to bed availability, in all three homes.
Our home has a reputation which is second to none and has been consistently awarded high ratings by the Care Quality Commission since 2006.
Because of our reputation for the highest standards, we are often involved in pilot projects and good practice schemes. Two of the recent ones are: Gold Standard Framework for palliative care and Contributor to a good practice infection control DVD for use nationally in care homes and hospitals.
Ellwood Place is dedicated to people with Dementia. It has 30 en-suite bedrooms, its own social areas and secure gardens.
Woodroffe Benton and Goodwin Court are our nursing units specialising in the provision of palliative and end of life care.
Penn Court is our residential home for people who require daily support and encouragement to live life to the fullest.
For many family carers occasional respite is vital, to take time out and maybe go on holiday. Subject to availability short stay rooms may be booked at short notice.
