The Grange

The Grange is a Residential Care Home for people who require particular support for Dementia and Mental Health Care.

We are specialists in dementia care and recognise a person with dementia is, first and foremost, a person – unique and with a rich history of experiences, abilities, skills, knowledge, preferences, desires and personality.

The Grange accommodates male and female residents with varying needs on respite, short term care or long term care. The home is located near Chorley Town Centre, and within close proximity for the community resources such as Banks, Shops, Health Centre, Doctors and Library.

Our staff continually work together to maximize the the resident/care relationship to provide a stable day to day environment and our care planning under the supervision of the manager allows us to complete person centered care plans.

Being a relatively small home allows us to provide individual personal care to a high standard and it enables our staff to meet the individual needs of a resident promoting the independence, dignity and privacy in a professional and caring manner.

Our team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants are on 24 hours a day to provide a high level of care and ensure peace of mind at all times.

Accommodation

The Grange has twenty two single rooms and two twin bedded rooms set over two floors. The upper floor of the home can be reached via a passenger lift. There are a number of community areas for Service Users to use and Service Users can also enjoy a safe garden area at the back of the home.

All our bedrooms are well equipped, tastefully furnished to include, TV, DVD and CD Players.
