Nestled in the village of Yeovil Marsh, residents enjoy stunning views across rolling Somerset countryside. We tailor a wide range of activities and outings to genuinely meet everybody’s unique needs. Oh, and the food is fantastic. It’s care as it should be.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind

Good nutrition and regular physical activity play a protective role in a number of age-related conditions including cardiovascular disease and cognitive decline and can help to protect oral and dental health, and bone and joint health in later life.

Putting the science to one side, at The Elms we believe it is vital to maintain a commitment to healthy living for the benefit of our residents. Whether you prefer the calming peace of yoga or more rigorous Zumba dancing, we encourage our residents to move around and get their blood flowing.

Thanks to our dedicated cook who serves up a variety of delicious and nutritious meals, you’ll have the energy to do it all over again the next day!

Laughter, Learning & Leisure

Based on our experience caring for the elderly, we have seen first hand the tremendous benefit that comes from regular social interaction amongst our residents. At The Elms, we give staff the time to help facilitate these interactions through various activities based on the particular interests of our residents. From the weekly gardening club… to visits from a local accordionist… to pub lunch outings, we try to keep everyone busy. After all, it’s the ‘doing’ and the experiences that makes life that little bit more interesting.
