Swimbridge House Nursing Home

Swimbridge House Nursing Home is a small, 30-bed, nursing home with a very homely atmosphere and plenty of personal attention. The home is situated just outside the village of Swimbridge in a rural setting, close to the A361 link road and within five miles from the regional centre of Barnstaple, and seven miles from South Molton. The nursing home may be found by leaving the village along Station Hill and crossing the new bridge. There is a regular bus service to and from Barnstaple and South Molton which runs throughout the day.

The home offers full nursing care in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where the physical and mental well-being of each resident will be catered for, providing a warm and friendly environment with highly qualified nursing staff giving professional care at all times. The home also provides residential care and has a dementia unit. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Swimbridge House Nursing Home aims to provide a safe environment, with 24 hour nursing care by our qualified and trained nursing team for the medically and chronically sick. We consider quality of life is of the greatest importance, aiming to maintain and improve the health of our residents while providing a caring, secure and stimulating atmosphere. All residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible and participate in the day to day routine of the home.
