St Catherines Nursing Home

St Catherines Nursing Home is a small, privately owned care home dedicated to the care of its residents and their families. Our core staff team have been with us for many years, thereby ensuring continuity of personalized care throughout the 24 hour period.

Qualified nurses head the care team, ensuring that although our residents’ care needs may change with time, they can continue to stay with us in familiar surroundings with people they know.

We accommodate residents with both physical and mental illnesses and disabilities. We are able to provide general nursing care, palliative care and care for people with conditions such as dementia.

We are located in a quiet residential area of Letchworth Garden City with good links to the surrounding area.

PERSONALIZED CARE

A Named Nurse will meet with residents and their family to formulate an individual plan of care to meet their needs and wishes. Residents and families will be invited to regular review meetings to ensure we continue to provide the best possible care.

Every resident has a Keyworker acting as a focal point for the resident and their family. Their role is to ensure that the resident’s personal requirements are not overlooked in the busy day to day environment.

Residents are encouraged to take an active role in the running of the Home. Many participate in Resident meetings and sit on interview panels to help in the selection of new staff.
