Description:
Parris Lawn
Parris Lawn is the complete elderly care home. Offering residential, dementia and specialist care in East Sussex.
Life in a care home can mean different things to different people. For some, it implies around-the-clock professional nursing care. For others, it suggests assistance with the everyday activities you find a struggle these days. Either way, we believe it should be enjoyed.
Whatever care means to you, at Parris Lawn, we go to great lengths to ensure that you enjoy a happy and fulfilling stay with us. We offer a safe relaxing environment, personalised care, delicious food, excellent company and a host of lively activities for you to enjoy. After all, it is your home.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you personally into our home.
Set in the beautiful East Sussex village of Ringmer and nestled at the foot of the South Downs, Parris Lawn is a new custom-built luxury care home catering for those in their later years who are in need of residential, nursing and respite care within a safe homely environment.
The home is staffed by our experienced team of nurses and carers who provide residents with assistance, reassurance and companionship. We believe that residents should live as full and active life as possible, where personal growth and development is key and healthy and independent living is encouraged.
Embedded within the local community, the building is set over two floors with 62 ensuite bedrooms, three luxury communal lounges, a restaurant-style dining room. It is surrounded by landscaped gardens comprising lawns, beds full of flowering shrubs and seated patio areas, with magnificent views across the South Downs.
Parris Lawn is named after Frederick Parris (1867-1943), a first-class cricketer and Test match umpire who was born in the village. Ringmer was also home to former British Prime Minister James Callaghan and his wife, Audrey until his death in 2005.
The home is owned by the Titleworth Group, a reputable provider of accommodation for the elderly including those with dementia and physical disability. The company has a proven track record for delivering excellence in care within luxury home environments.
While comfortable surroundings and delicious food are hugely important, it’s the people who make the difference at Parris Lawn. Our select team of seasoned and highly qualified staff come from a diverse range of backgrounds and bring with them an assortment of knowledge and experiences.
Whether you need help moving about the home or more individual, personal care, someone will always be on hand to provide support and reassurance. But attending to the everyday essentials is just part of their job. They never forget the little moments of kindness that can make someone’s day.
Parris Lawn is staffed around the clock. There are nurse stations located on both floors and as well as our team of experienced nurses and carers, a range of other healthcare and welfare specialists visit on a regular basis including doctors, dentists, opticians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and podiatrists
