Little Oaks

Little Oaks is a residential home on the outskirts of High Wycombe in South Buckinghamshire. We are registered for 35 residents and all the bedrooms are en-suite. We comply with the required standards for residential care whilst maintaining a home environment familiar to us all.

Over the past 25 years we have built up our business for the elderly in a comfortable, homely & friendly environment.

Our philosophy is based on getting to know our residents as well as we would members of our own family and looking after them in a personalised and loving atmosphere. We pride ourselves on quality home cooking and baking which is much appreciated by the residents.

We want our residents to feel that they are moving house and that Little Oaks becomes their new home and that we become an extension to their family.

We take a personal interest in all of our residents and build up a loving relationship which encourages our staff to create a happy and caring environment.

Care at Little Oaks

We are very passionate about the care given at Little Oaks

Little Oaks is predominantly purpose built but retains the character of the original detached bungalow in many places and is situated in lovely countryside which is a five minute drive from the town of High Wycombe. It has excellent access to the M40, M25 and M4 and is only 30 minutes by train to London.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for 35 residents. We have three communal Lounges, a Conservatory, Dining Room and day areas in which to rest and relax, and which also include two lovely terraces overlooking landscaped gardens.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and furnished with a bed, wardrobe, easy chairs and chests of drawers however we encourage our residents to personalise their own rooms so that they feel their room is home.

A call bell system is located throughout the home, as well as in communal areas, toilets and bathrooms.

As a home we believe our person-centered care is paramount. We build close relationships with all of those we care for, taking into consideration their dignity, respect and privacy at all times.

We welcome visitors at any time within reason and we will also accept well behaved pets as visitors at the Management’s discretion.
