High Lee Care Home

High Lee Care Home is just three miles from Hebden Bridge and is an excellent quality, family run, warm and friendly establishment with caring, competent and highly trained staff.

It is situated in a uniquely named area of Luddendenfoot, it is a tranquil and beautiful part of Yorkshire; only eight miles from the large town of Halifax and easily accessed from the M62 motorway. We at High Lee Care Home are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of personalised and individual care in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Our environment at High Lee Care Home is one which promotes personal choice and independence, it is as though a person was living in their own home.

High Lee Care Home is a converted barn, which has two storeys. The facilities include a dining room where all meals are served, which doubles up as an activity room (pictured right).

High Lee Care Home has a television lounge, which overlooks the garden and has a virtual fire for those cold nights!

We are also equipped with three touch screen computers, three laptops and a networked printer which You and your families can use whenever You wish as the home provides FREE WIFI.

There are 3 bathrooms, 1 of the bathrooms has an electrically operated bath with a shower, and the other 2 are shower rooms.

Toilets are situated in all the shower and bathrooms 1 of which is on the ground floor; adjacent to the main dining/activities room. There is a program of activities which you can take part in, but we also cater for your own personal hobbies.

There is no rigid regime when it comes to meals and whilst we offer an excellent choice of finely prepared home cooked and hearty food, we also readily cater for special diets, even fads!

We have also just been awarded 5 out of 5 for our Food Hygiene by the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme from Calderdale Council!

During the warmer summer months you can sit at tables and chairs outside or even on a canopy swing, enjoy the fabulous scenery first hand, amble around our attractive garden and benefit from the fresh air.

If You are a keen gardener or even just appreciate fresh flowers, the garden at High Lee will definitely be a haven to You.

The Rooms

We accommodate respite and permanent care in all 16 of our rooms; 15 of which are for single occupancy and 2 double rooms which can be used for partners or friends sharing.

All rooms are en-suite, comfortably furnished, include the modern conveniences expected in a hotel and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding, stunningly beautiful countryside.

In creating this atmosphere, we encourage guests to bring items of their own furniture, if they wish and, indeed, choose their own room decoration, but arrangements can be made to provide furniture if necessary. Also, for added peace of mind each room has a nurse call for emergencies.
