Description:
Dalemain House Care Home
There is a lot to consider when choosing a residential care home. Issues such as standard of care, quality of life and peace of mind play a vital role in the decision-making process. At Dalemain House we create a safe and secure environment where our staff are trained in all aspects of care.
Our background
Our success is down to our fundamental belief in evidence based person-centred care. We have established a reputation for quality and believe that we can always improve even the highest standards. So we invest heavily in training and developing our staff.
Our approach
We treat everyone as an individual – with the same courtesy and respect for privacy and dignity. We also recognise that quality of life is as important as quality of care and we ensure that there is a wide range of social and recreational activities for our care home residents to participate in. Above all, we help our residents to live life as independently as possible.
Safe and Sound
Your relative’s safety and wellbeing are our paramount concern, and it is vital that you as the family feel confident that you can leave your relative in our care, knowing they are safe. All our staff are trained and are recruited with particular care and attention: references are fully investigated and every member of staff undergoes clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service. Only then can they begin their thorough induction period at Dalemain House.
No-one is allowed on the premises that is not known by the member of staff without any formal ID and explanation for the visit. Our home has an effective door system which can only be opened by a key code on the inside; unrecognised visitors are always challenged. Please note, all visitors including families are expected to sign in and out in the visitors book in the front porch.
