Calderbank House

Calderbank House is a small family owned and run residential home set in an acre of delightful and well maintained grounds. The canalside setting and beautiful views make Calderbank an ideal place to call home.

The house is situated in peaceful surroundings edged by the River Calder and the Rochdale Canal. The historic market towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden are just short bus rides away.

Here at Calderbank House, the people we care for aren’t just numbers, they’re part of the family. To ensure a ‘home from home’ environment we cater for just six clients.

The manager has many years experience and has an excellent team of dedicated carers who are not only experienced and highly trained but also committed to providing a high standard of care.

The Care Quality Commission have awarded us the prestigious ‘3 star’ quality rating (the highest rating possible meaning the service and care provided at Calderbank is judged to be excellent.

Rooms

We have six single rooms that are light, spacious and tastefully furnished. Residents can of course bring their own furniture if they prefer. Each bedroom has its own en-suite or adjoining bathroom. All rooms have phone lines and a call system to enable residents to call for help or assistance.

Facilities

Clients are encouraged to be independent and transport can be arranged for outings to shops, community events, social clubs etc. Staff accompaniment can be provided if necessary.

We have regular visits from a hairdresser and a chiropodist and can arrange alternative therapies such as aromatherapy and reflexology on request. Entertainment such as music, films, quizzes, exercise sessions and games is available for those who wish to partake.

Food

We provide a wide range of quality wholesome and nutritious food. The menu is varied, seasonal and consistently delicious. We grow our own organic vegetables and have chickens that provide us with free range eggs.
