We offer Supported Housing across the country
Abbeyfield have 60 years’ experience of providing great care and housing. Our Supported Housing services are designed to help you lead your life your way and offer security, independence and peace of mind.
What is Supported Housing?
Abbeyfield Supported Housing offers residents the independence of having their own room in a home from home environment. Our Supported Housing is similar to other assisted living or sheltered housing type homes in that you live with us as independently as you wish, but if you need a little more care and support it’s there.
Services are similar to the Assisted Living or Sheltered Housing models, but the Abbeyfield difference is our unique emphasis on making time for all residents. Staff and volunteers at an Abbeyfield Supported House all adopt our values of looking after the whole person – body and mind – and enhancing the lives of people living with us.
Providing Care Homes for older people across the country
What is a Residential Care Home?
In the UK residential care home – usually just called Care Homes – are for older people with relatively low care needs. This type elderly accommodation is for people who are frail, but do not require nursing or specialist care. At a Care Home the support services are more along the lines of help with washing, dressing and other daily living activities.

The key to our care is the peace of mind we give our residents. We are there for people who find it difficult to look after themselves and want to have the security of highly skilled staff on site 24 hours a day.
