Quebec Hall

We are a Christian Residential Care Home bungalow complex located just outside the rural town of Dereham, Norfolk. Quebec Hall is a grade 2 listed building.

The 250 year old Hall is full of character and has been providing a caring family atmosphere for up to 22 residents since 1960.

Quebec Hall was converted into a Christian Home in 1960 and is registered for 22 residents.

The Rooms

The Hall has accommodation for twenty residents who receive full 24 hour care provided by trained staff including access to Doctors, Nurses, Optometrists, Chiropodist and hearing aid support as required.

All the rooms are bright, airy, en-suite and include an internal call system. Situated on three floors, the rooms on floors two and three are accessed by either passenger lift or Stannah chair lift.

The Lounges

The Hall has two large lounges, one of which features a balcony that affords good views of the gardens and beyond.

The lounge on the ground floor is used extensively for the majority of the Hall’s activities including the weekly services.

The Dining room

Meals are served in a large, bright dining room and are scheduled to meet the individual needs of the residents, including any special requirements. The hall has also been re-carpeted throughout and had a new bathroom installed. We also have regular visits from a Hairdresser and the local mobile Library.

The Summer House and Patio

The garden includes a Summer House and refurbished patio.

The Bungalows

There are 43 bungalows situated in the grounds of Quebec Hall. Forty one of the bungalows have single bedrooms and a further two provide two-bedroom accommodation.

Privacy of all occupants in the self-contained, comfortable accommodation is ensured. In addition, each bungalow is linked directly to the Hall by a communication and security system that provides immediate assistance in an emergency. Each bungalow has a small garden and residents are encouraged to plant flowers and shrubs.
