Despite the charity being completely financially self-supporting, through careful management by the staff and its Management Committee, Seely Hirst House has been continuously improved to its present high standards. Summer 2015 saw the bringing into service of a major extension to the rear of the property and extensive reshaping of the patio and garden areas.
Since its conception, Seely Hirst House’s connections with the community have been considered of prime importance. Though not involved in the day to day professional care, the home is most grateful for all the volunteers – including the Trustees -who give of their time supporting the home.
