St Andrew’s House
St Andrew’s House is a residential home for older people. It is a registered charity (number 214293) and is run by The Trustees of St Andrew’s House. The house aims to provide a caring environment, with a Christian ethos, and offer choice and independence to support our community of residents to live a constructive, positive and fulfilling lifestyle.
St Andrew’s House, Coventry, is a residential home for older people run by the Trustees of St Andrew’s House. The home was opened in 1956 and originally operated under the name of Coventry and District Free Church Homes for the Elderly. On 25th August 2009 the Charity Commission for England and Wales issued a new scheme and today the charity is known as “St Andrew’s House”, registered Charity 214293.
The home has been recently redeveloped to provide extensive, up-to-date facilities and the home can currently accommodate up to thirty-five people in single en-suite rooms. It has one large and two smaller lounges, two modern dining rooms, an activities room, a hair dressing salon, a dedicated chapel and extensive gardens.
We are still active in our fundraising to further enhance the services we provide.
