Sherwood Grange Care Centre
Sherwood Grange Care Centre is a charming residential and nursing home that is conveniently located in the pretty village of Edwinstowe with all its local amenities, including the popular South Forest Leisure Centre.
Our home can accommodate 45 residents in refurbished and en-suite bedrooms that boast beautiful landscaped gardens with extensive wildlife and stunning views across the surrounding farmland.
We customise our care packages so that they offer both long and short-term care in a very friendly, happy and warm environment. We also pride ourselves in preserving dignity, respect and removing isolation from people’s lives.
Our philosophy is to consistently provide the highest level of care to improve the lives of each of our residents and this enables us to create the right environment, focusing on a home away from home experience.
We prepare wholesome meals on a daily basis, by using the freshest of ingredients and our chefs can cater for all types of dietary requirements. As well as our in-house laundry, additional services such as hairdressing and manicures can be arranged.
With an array of facilities and regular activities, from musical entertainment and readings to outings and garden parties, living with us really does mean that there is always something to do and enjoy at any time of the day.
Our rooms
Sherwood Grange Care Centre can accommodate 45 residents in a variety of fully furnished, single and double rooms with en-suite facilities. The rooms are spread across two floors and have lift access. Residents are also encouraged to bring in personal items or small pieces of furniture to personalise their own room and create a home away from home experience. We also make every effort to accommodate any special requests.

Dining
At Sherwood Grange Care Centre we understand the importance of good nutrition. Our in-house chefs prepare fresh meals on a daily basis and our menus are carefully designed with what our residents love to eat. We always offer a choice and we can easily cater for special dietary requirements. Tea, coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, fruit and biscuits are available at any time of the day.
Lounge and social areas
The ground floor benefits from two spacious lounges where residents can relax quietly or socialise with visitors or friends, and enjoy served refreshments.
Garden Areas
The landscaped gardens are fully accessible and provide extensive wildlife, quiet corners and areas perfect for relaxing, reading a book or chatting with friends whilst admiring the views across the surrounding farmland. If you listen carefully, you might even hear the rustling leaves of Sherwood Forest.
