High Brake House Residential and Dementia Care Home in Clitheroe, Lancashire has been run by Brierley Care for the last 10 years. Our family run home is situated in the picturesque Ribble Valley.

We are a short distance from Clitheroe Market town with scenic walks around the castle, and busy local markets on weekdays. Spectacular views over Pendle Hill and Waddington Fell can be enjoyed from many of our rooms.

Our Team

Our dedicated caring team is trained to NVQ level two and above in Health and Social Care. We have two End of Life care six steps care champions and one Dignity champion.

All staff use a person centred approach to care, offering as much support as each individual resident requires.

Our belief is that healthy meals are the basic foundation for healthy life for all ages. High Brake House provides a wholesome, nutritionally balanced diet of home cooked food.

Meals are carefully prepared providing unparalleled consistency of outstanding quality, the food safety standards are second to none.

We cater for all dietary needs with care to provide a wide choice for all of our residents, whether that is for allergies, purees and soft diets, diabetics, gluten free, cultural or religious requirements.
