Aniska Lodge

Situated just outside the charming village of Warninglid, near Haywards Heath, Aniska Lodge Nursing Home is a Grade II listed building with a large extension backing onto woodlands and has 49 bedrooms, all single with ensuite facilities.

It is owned by Excel Care Homes Limited and is registered with the CQC as a care home with nursing. In addition we also care for people with Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or physical disabilities and people with learning disabilities who are in need of nursing care. Our staff are carefully selected and trained to meet your needs and ensure that your stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable. Your independence matters a lot to us. Here at Aniska Lodge we do not expect everyone to be the same and treat every resident as a unique individual with different needs. We offer various activities to enhance your abilities. Our accommodations are set with simple comforts and we encourage residents and their families to personalise their rooms according to their liking to ensure that they feel at home as much as possible. Personal small furniture, pictures, memorabilia and ornaments are highly encouraged. All residents are assessed prior to admission and are admitted initially on a trial basis to ascertain that we are able to meet your needs and also for you to be able to decide that you have chosen the right home. We have two large beautiful lounges and dining rooms, which are light and spacious. Residents are free to choose whether to chat with others, listen to music, watch the television or join in our frequent activities. We also have quiet areas where residents are able to read or simply relax in peace.

All of our food is specially prepared on site by our Chef. Residents are always given a choice from our extensive menu for each meal. Meals can be served in bedrooms, the dining room or weather permitting, on the terrace.

All of our bedrooms are bright and comfortable and residents are encouraged to personalise them. All bedrooms have en-suite toilets and all bathrooms have Parker baths. Shower rooms are also available. All rooms are fitted with a TV point and a telephone socket.

Our local GP visits regularly and our hairdresser visits on a weekly basis. A chiropodist, physiotherapist and optician are also available by appointment.

Moving to Aniska lodge Care home does not mean that residents will lose their individuality or contact with the outside world; on the contrary we encourage residents to participate and lead an active and fulfilling lifestyle in a safe and caring environment.

There is ample parking, a large front patio, a separate courtyard, lawned areas and a variety of shrubs surrounding the home.
