Langford Park

Langford Park Nursing Home is situated in a beautiful rural location near Cowley Bridge on the Northern outskirts of Exeter, just off the Exeter to Crediton road. The detached property stands in approximately 6.5 acres of delightful grounds with fields to the front and side. The Home has been established for approximately 20 years and is registered to accommodate a maximum of 35 clients in 35 single bedrooms with 3 of them being twin bedrooms; 23 have en suite facilities. The home is run with a manager, a deputy manager and a full compliment of staff including RGN’s, RMN’s, catering, housekeeping, care assistants, activities and maintenance.

All of our staff are kept abreast of the latest regulations and take part in regular training sessions, both in house and with accredited external training providers. They are fully inducted and certified in manual handling and hoist usage relevant to their positions within the home.

We have lovely gardens, ponies in the paddocks and chickens in the garden, plus work and display sheds. We welcome the service users to interact with the animals and express their creativity wherever possible.

Langford Park has been quietly undergoing life enhancing improvements for the benefit of all the residents. All the bathrooms have been extensively redecorated providing a warm and tranquil place to relax when bathing. Although there is an ongoing programme of refurbishment of all rooms, it is not just redecoration, many of them have had ‘Ultra floor’ flooring. This is the warmest, safest non slip and most easily cleanable surface available.
