The Devonshire Nursing Home
The Devonshire Nursing Home together with Threeways Nursing Home in Seaford, is family owned and run.
The Devonshire has been running since 1978 to enable elderly people to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their needs.
The Devonshire Nursing Home is a registered care home with nursing offering 37 rooms, many with en suite facilities. The rooms are generally used as single rooms although three of them can be used as doubles if required. The categories that the home is registered for are OP (old people) and PD (physical disabilities).
We continue to value each and every individual who comes to live at The Devonshire Nursing Home and we welcome applications from people from all walks of life. All residents are assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes.
People who enquire about our accommodation and services are provided with an information pack and are encouraged to visit the home.
We predominantly offer nursing care. We have 37 single rooms and many of them have en suite facilities although three can be used as doubles if required. The bedrooms are well equipped and all have televisions, telephones and nurse call bell systems. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal items to their rooms, so that they have a sense of being at home and locks are provided on their storage space where valuable items can be kept.
There are two large ground floor lounges where meals can be taken and entertainment takes place. There is a lift to enable residents to go up to the first and second floor on one side of the building and a chair lift on the other side of the Home.
We are able to supply specialised moving and handling equipment, pressure mattresses and cushions.
The Devonshire is surrounded by beautiful gardens which offer ramps for easy access and relaxing seating areas to enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings.
