We are a long established family owned Nursing Home, committed to delivering high quality care for older people.

Situated in its own attractive wheelchair accessible grounds in a quiet residential area at the eastern end of Seaford, between Seaford Head Golf Course and the sea. Seaford lies between Brighton and Eastbourne and benefits from a long and level promenade.

Accommodation for Residents is provided on the ground and first floor, which are linked by a wheelchair accessible lift. There is a dining room and two comfortable lounges, one of which is a quiet lounge for those Residents who prefer a tranquil environment, this looks out onto a planted patio and seating area and offers direct access to the delightful rear garden and central courtyard.

Rooms at Westerleigh Nursing HomeĀ are homely in design, whilst providing the facilities required to support each Residents nursing and personal care needs. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with pictures, ornaments, photographs and small items of furniture.

Westerleigh Nursing Home has an on site laundry, fully equipped with modern washing and drying machines. Resident’s personal laundry is collected and returned freshly laundered to their room, dry cleaning can be arranged with a local service, and will be charged at cost.

Chiropody and Hairdressing services are provided by visiting experienced professionals, and these services, along with any newspapers or magazines, will be charged at cost price.

Pets are welcome with visitors to see Residents, all we ask is that they are kept under close control, and in the case of dogs on a lead. Following requests from Residents for a dog to visit the home that they could have the opportunity to stroke and talk to, we approached the Registered Charity “Pets as Therapy’ and now have regular visits from a local dog and their owner. We are aware not all Residents want to see dogs or other pets, and we will endeavour to make sure they are not disturbed by them.
