Sundial Cottage

Sundial Cottage is a well established, privately owned Care home, situated on the edge of the New Forest National Park, on the South Coast of Hampshire, close to the beaches of Calshot and Lepe and approximately one mile from the Village of Fawley. Sundial is a registered home and complies with all regulations under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the inspectorate body CQC.

Sundial Cottage is owned by Mr Neil Sykes and Mrs Lorraine Sykes and is managed by a full time Registered Manager. Staff are committed to providing person centred care within a warm, stimulating homely environment that strives to meet the individual needs of the clients and support their families.

We are registered for 22 residents male or female. The Certificate of Registration is for Care Home for adults over 65, Mental Health conditions, Dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

We can provide long stay care, carers breaks, rehabilitation, palliative care and day care.

We offer a well equipped home with eighteen rooms- twelve single- five of which are on suite and five shared rooms.

Clients are actively encouraged to individualise their room and are therefore able to bring some of their own personal effects and small items of furniture if they wish to do so. The home has three well equipped bathrooms and two separate toilets for general use, all equipped with Nurse call systems should assistance be required.

Each of our rooms have their own character and are light and spacious with a personal call system that is connected via a bleeper to the staff on duty, ensuring that assistance is only the push of a button way.

Sundial offers our clients the choice of a quiet lounge and day lounge complete with a Television and Stereo. Other quiet areas are located around the home.
