Tree Tops Residential Homes

Tree Tops Residential Homes was established in 1969 and is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide 24 hour residential care for 43 clients.  Our services are purchased by a number of local authorities with whom we contract and we welcome enquiries from all prospective clients.

There are two homes situated on the complex :- ‘Tree Tops’ which accommodates 30 clients falling under the category of ‘older age’ and ‘Delphlands’ which accommodates 13 clients falling under the category of ‘Elderly Mentally Infirm’ (EMI).

The homes operate under the auspices of the originating family, now a partnership between David Beattie, who acts as  Managing Director and Homes Administrator, and his mother Carole Leyland. Enquiries concerning admission can be made by telephone, email or by viewing in person at any time, via a member of the Management Team.

Tree Tops

We have 28 bedrooms, all furnished to a very high standard to ensure your comfort and safety.  There are 10 bedrooms located on the ground floor and 18 located on the upper floors, 26 being single occupancy and the remaining 2 are double rooms for residents who prefer to share.  Screening is provided in double rooms to ensure privacy for personal care.

Each room has a hand-wash basin, adequate electrical sockets and lockable facilities for your personal possessions.   Bathrooms and toilets are located throughout the home on both floors and are clearly identified. A shower is located towards the rear of the building on the Ground Floor and at the centre of the building on the first floor.

A passenger lift is located at the rear of the building adjacent to the Laundry. Unfortunately, Rooms 18-22 located upstairs at the front of the building have a small run of steps to them and can only  be accessed utilising a stair lift (if required).

We have two communal lounges with TV / Video / Radio / Music centre facilities. One of which has a spacious conservatory overlooking our picturesque gardens.  There is also another conservatory located by the dining room (situated towards the centre of the building on the ground floor) which contains a small library and quiet area where residents can relax.

The main kitchen is located at the front of the building and a smaller kitchenette is located adjacent to the dining room where residents can prepare snacks and drinks, where their care plan shows it is safe to do so. The laundry can be found to the rear of the building on the ground floor (adjacent to the Passenger Lift).

There are also extensive gardens for your enjoyment, and residents have unrestricted access to these facilities, subject to Health and Safety constraints that may be necessary from time to time.

The Management Offices are located at the front of the building on the ground floor. There is a pay phone situated in the reception area of the Home. We also have large-digit telephones and special hearing amplification aids available where these would be of help to you, and a member of staff can tell you how to obtain these. If you prefer you can have a private telephone line installed in your room at your own expense.   A member of staff will deliver all private mail to you.

Delphlands

We have 13 bedrooms, all furnished to a very high standard to ensure your comfort and safety.  There are 6 bedrooms located on the ground floor and 7 located on the upper floor, all being single occupancy rooms.  Each room has a hand-wash basin, adequate electrical sockets and lockable facilities for your personal possessions.  Bathrooms and toilets are located throughout the home on both floors and are clearly identified. A shower is located on the first floor and a passenger lift is located at the centre of the building adjacent to the Reception area.

We have a spacious communal lounge with TV / Video / Radio / Music centre facilities and a large Dining room located on the Ground floor.  A small kitchenette is located next to the Dining room where residents can prepare snacks and drinks, where their care plan shows it is safe to do so.

There are also extensive gardens for your enjoyment, and residents have unrestricted access to these facilities, subject to health and safety constraints that may be necessary from time to time.   A small private garden overlooking a picturesque Victorian Conservatory is also located next to the building to ensure your comfort, safety and security.
