Description:
The Mill House Care Home
The Mill House Care Home stands in its own grounds in the village of Kington, Worcestershire, which nestles between Inkberrow and Flyford Flavell.
The Mill House Care Home is owned by Joanne and Tony Carroll. Joanne, who is an experienced care home proprietor, is involved with the home on a daily basis.
Our residents benefit from being in the countryside and the home has beautiful gardens for everyone to enjoy, but is also easily accessible from many major transport routes.
We pride ourselves on offering individualised, person-centred care to those living with Dementia. Our aim is to enable maximum quality of life with the minimum of restriction.
We are home to 31 residents, our spacious rooms, most of which are en-suite, are tastefully decorated and residents are invited to bring personal items such as ornaments, photographs and small pieces of furniture in order to make them feel truly at home.
We recognise that being away from one’s loved ones can be difficult and have several computers to help residents to stay in touch with family and friends; each room also has its own phone and TV points.
All our staff are highly qualified and provide an excellent standard of care at all times. This is achieved through our staff training and development programme at Mill House Training.
Our Training Manager, Ann Walton, who is a Registered Nurse, supports the managers in ensuring that the care team develop and maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.
