Description:

Whitestone Lodge

Whitestone Lodge is a delightful blend of modern times with the past. The house originally began life as two separate houses that were built in 1885 and owned by the Earls of Derby. One of the houses had remained as a private residential property, whilst the other house eventually became a local landmark as the Roby Guest House.

In 1987, the present owners completely refurbished the premises to create a high quality establishment providing a relaxed and happy home in a safe and secure environment for vulnerable elderly citizens. This standard has been continually improved ever since. Their intention, and in this they succeeded, was to provide the elder gentle folk of Knowsley with somewhere they could live in comfort, dignity and privacy.

The home has an extensive and very well maintained garden at the rear, which with its liberal planting of mature evergreen shrubs, trees and borders provides a pleasing vista throughout the year.

Smoking is permitted in designated areas.

Being situated in a popular and tranquil suburban setting, Whitestone Lodge is just one mile from the M62 and M57 motorways and four miles from Liverpool City Centre. We are very well served by public transport, being on a through route to Liverpool and less than a 1/4 mile from Roby train station.

Whitestone Lodge is registered as a Residential Care Home with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which is responsible for checking that standards are achieved and maintained.

Whitestone Lodge is not registered as a Nursing Home.

We are pleased to provide residential care, respite care and day care.
