Carden Bank

Carden Bank is a detached property comprising of two adjoining properties tastefully converted into one building. It is situated on Belvedere Road and sited approximately 400 metres from the local NHS Trust Queens Hospital in Burton-upon-Trent. Carden Bank is privately owned and managed by Kerry Davies and her husband John.

Carden Bank is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care for individuals aged 65 and over. We are also registered to provide care for the elderly who suffer with either physical impairment or dementia.

We provide 24 hour care and assess the needs of all individuals prior to admission. We provide respite care; day care as well as permanent care and welcome family visitors to the home at any time.

All care staff receive regular training and supervision. Food is cooked on the premises using only the finest ingredients. An on-site Laundry cleaning service is provided. In-house entertainment is provided regularly. Visits to places of interest are organised frequently.

We provide 24 hour residential care which includes waking night staff and an individual approach to support, personal care and a range of social activities with trips out.

We provide help with bathing, dressing, and the administration of medication. We contact your doctor or district nurse whenever necessary and make sure that you get to any Hospital appointments. The local GP will visit the home as and when required.

Home cooked meals are tailored to residents’ needs and choice. We have a large enclosed, secure garden for you to relax in. Professionals such as the hairdresser and chiropodist visit regularly. There is ample communal space with 2 large lounges and several smaller lounges. Visits from families and friends are welcome anytime. We have an adjoining private car park.

Carden Bank is a small friendly family-run care home with 14 bedrooms. The majority of the bedrooms are single rooms with en-suite. Two bedrooms are registered as double rooms which can be shared by couples.

There are four bedrooms on the ground floor with a chair lift to the first floor.
