19 Douglas Close is a residential home with a warm and friendly environment, providing care for three people with learning disabilities. It is a large bungalow in a residential area on the outskirts of Guildford called Jacobs Well which enjoys both many local amenities and all the facilities of Guildford. There is a ‘house’ car which is available for residents to use each day.
The home is well staffed and residents have access to a variety of different activities. Adult education classes, day centres, day trips are also available.
Just Homes operates 6 care homes for adults with learning disabilities throughout Surrey and Berkshire.Our aim is to help our service users create their own home to enable them to live a normal life. We encourage them to develop new skills and maintain present skills to as high a level of independence as each is capable.
