Hegarty Care

Hegarty Care  offers support for people of both sexes with Learning Disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, autism, aspergers syndrome, epilepsy, personality disorder and complex needs from the age of 18 to 65 for all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We place great emphasis on providing supportive care in a small, non-institutional, home like environment.  We are pleased to accept individuals for as long as they wish to stay, we also accept respite and emergency placements.

We are committed to supporting individuals to live a satisfying, hopeful and meaningful life.  We achieve this by firstly making the home they situate in a homely environment which offers comfort, privacy and security. A care plan that is person centred and tailor made for the individual with regular assessments and reviewing the effectiveness of care and support through planned care review meetings. We provide care and support that is focused on reducing the severity and frequency of behaviours that may challenge individuals moving forward in life and achieving their goals and dreams, this can be achieved by Personalised activities that maintains and enhances the life skills and interests of our service users. Hegarty Care believes its vital that each individual is supported to keep links with their chosen circle of support including family, friends, social worker and advocates.
