Description:
Tweedmouth House
Tweedmouth House care home is a Grade II listed building situated on the South Bank of the River Tweed with glorious views over the river and the ancient town of Berwick on Tweed.
It is in this setting that we provide first class nursing and residential care tailored to suit individual needs. Whether it is short term, respite, day care or long term care, we pride ourselves in the care we deliver for our residents in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
Tweedmouth House was established in 1987, when it opened its doors as the first privately owned home in the town.
We continue to operate under the caring supervision of Pat Thomlinson (R.G.N.) and Natalia Thomlinson (R.G.N.) with the support from dedicated and suitably qualified staff.
Our Aim…
Our aim is to provide a caring, safe, supportive and comfortable environment for the elderly. Our team of nurses and suitably qualified staff will deliver the highest standards of care.
We understand that everyone’s needs are different and so, our assessments are carried out in an individual basis.
We work closely with residents and families because we understand how important it is to develop a constructive and positive relationship.
We encourage our clients to retain their own identity and independence. We have an open visiting policy so that family and friends can visit often and maintain involvement in activities.
We offer first class long term accommodation at Tweedmouth House in beautiful location. We can also provide care for clients who may require short term or respite care.
We can also offer day care in our home, and this service may also include homes transport.
In order to discuss your individual requirements please contact Pat Thomlinson, the Homes Manager.
We provide first class accommodation in our large en suite single rooms. We have spacious lounges with superb views of the River Tweed where clients and families can socialise and take part in any activities organised by the staff.
There is also a secluded garden, a large conservatory and patio areas for our residents to enjoy in warm days.
This historic building has retained its charm and character whilst offering disable access and lifts to all floors and areas of our Home.
