The heart of Omega Oak Barn was created from a former farm, with the original buildings having been converted. The subsequent major development programme of extension and refurbishment has created a largely purpose built Home shaped by the character of it’s origins. This has provided light, spacious and well equipped accommodation of a very high standard, in a rural setting in the heart of Ryedale in North Yorkshire. The property sits in two acres of gardens and paddocks, located in Beadlam/Nawton, 3 miles equidistant from the local market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside.

Finding the right care home is no easy task with many questions to be considered, whether you are looking for yourself or assisting a relative or friend in their search. Please then feel you can come and see our Home for yourself, giving you the opportunity to chat with staff and residents and get ‘a flavour of the place’. The Home has two principal lounges, a light and airy garden room, and a conservatory, where residents can relax, watch television, have a chat or just spend some quiet time. These spacious rooms benefit from large picture windows with lovely views of the courtyard, gardens or paddocks. Each room is furnished and decorated to a high standard, providing residents with comfortable surroundings. We aim to create a warm homely atmosphere, enhancing the quality of life enjoyed by all. Most bedrooms are en suite, and all are located on the ground floor, which assists independence. Rooms have views again that either, overlook the gardens, courtyard or paddocks.

The property sits in well stocked grounds, containing trees shrubs and seasonal flowers, with ample seating, be it on the terraces or in the gazebo of the secret garden, which can be enjoyed by all on sunnier days.

The property and all equipment are overseen by an experienced maintenance team, including personal attention of specialist tradespeople, so ensuring a safe and attractive environment in which to live.

We also have a very dedicated Ancillary Services Team who provide non-care duties such as cooking, general housekeeping, and activities.
