Vine House
Vine House is a detached property which has been converted and extended to provide a warm and caring home for the elderly, with well kept gardens, outside seating and dining (weather permitting).
Vine House provides all the necessary care and attention to those over 60 who wish to spend their later years in a secure and caring environment.
Established in 1986, Vine House has gained an excellent reputation in the area, not only for our first rate care staff but also for cleanliness, good food and a homely atmosphere.

Vine House provides long and short term care and respite.
No appointment is necessary to view the home, in fact we would prefer that when you visit you find us about our normal daily activities.
Only then can you fully appreciate what living in the home is truly like.
Our members of staff are well trained and are encouraged to attend available courses in order to improve and maintain their care skills.

- Care code of conduct
- Confidentiality
- The rights of service users
- Health and safety
- Food hygiene and safety
- Personal care tasks
- Care assistant responsibilities
We have a happy family atmosphere and our staff members have been in long term employment here at Vine House.
Organisational Arrangements
The day to day running of Vine House is the responsibility of our Registered Manager who ensures that the home is run to a high standard and meets all of our resident’s needs whilst also ensuring that we keep up to date with current legislation and regulations.
Health Care
Vine House does not provide nursing care. However those whose needs can be managed by the community District Nursing Service will be welcome and staff will support all self-care as well as providing full care.
- A doctor is called out at any time needed.
- The District Nurse comes into the Home twice a week to check on any on-going treatment and give any advice required.
- Dentists can be arranged based on Service User’s choice and transport can be arranged within the Hyndburn area.
- Chiropodist calls every 10 – 12 weeks.
