Long Close is a luxuriously appointed Victorian Residence set in extensive landscaped grounds in the exclusive area of Branksome Park, close to local amenities, parks and beaches.

Our care home is situated in glorious woodland surroundings and close to the sea with its sandy beaches and promenades.

The elegant shops of Westbourne are easily accessible, and the larger stores of Bournemouth and Poole, Dorset, with many leisure amenities, are just a short distance away.

We offer accommodation for seventeen residents in comfortable en-suite, centrally heated rooms. The ground floor rooms all lead to the patio and gorgeous landscaped gardens, where our residents can stroll or sit in tranquility by our ornamental pond or enjoy the shelter of the summer house.

The first floor rooms are serviced by a five-passenger internal lift. They open on to a spacious balcony, are furnished appropriately and overlook the gardens.

Rooms can be furnished, but residents are invited to bring their own items of furniture to create an air of familiarity in their new surroundings.

Breakfast is served individually to each resident, the main meal at midday and a light three-course supper in the evening are served in the dining room of our care home. Our delightful lounge provides a warm, congenial atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy morning coffee and afternoon tea in the company of other Residents.

Special diets and personal preferences are catered for and room service is available.
The aim and objective of our caring staff is to give support to our residents, enabling them to maintain an independent lifestyle. The modern emergency call system brings immediate assistance both day and night. Fire precautions and appliances conform to the recommendations of the Chief Fire Officer for the country. Safety is paramount in our home.
