Lime Tree House
Lime Tree House is a Christian Science nursing facility situated in Sale in the South of Manchester, in the North West region of England. Lime Tree House provides 24-hour Christian Science nursing care in a small homely environment, under the direct supervision of Journal-listed Christian Science nurses. Lime Tree House also provides out-patient care, rest and spiritual refreshment facilities.
Lime Tree House opened in September 2003. It is operated by Mountlands Trust Limited which has been providing and supporting Christian Science Nursing care in the North West of England since being established in 1937 for this purpose.
Lime Tree House is accredited by ‘The Commission for Accreditation of Christian Science Nursing Organisations’. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission and therefore licensed to provide services (Provider ID: 1-101668691)
Lime Tree House is situated in the Sale suburb of Manchester. The area has good transport facilities and links to the rest of the UK and is only 8 miles from Manchester International Airport and 35 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Admissions
Admission Enquiries should be made to the Christian Science Nursing Department by telephone 0161 973 7956. An assessment of the care needs will be made over the telephone, which will then be considered by the Admissions Committee. Prospective patients must be receiving Christian Science treatment from a Christian Science practitioner listed in the current issue of the Christian Science Journal.
Transportation. Lime Tree House will assist patients to travel to the house, provided they are fit to do so. Otherwise admissions will need to be brought in by private ambulance. This will be discussed during the assessment process and arranged if required.
Funding. Because we are a Registered Charity patients availing themselves of Christian Science nursing care at Lime Tree House are only expected to pay what they can reasonably afford. Grants for the outstanding balances are available from The Aid Fund for Christian Scientists in Need of Nursing Care and the Lime Tree House Benevolent Fund, on application to the Administrator.
