New Forest Nursing Home

The New Forest Nursing Home sits in the heart of the New Forest yet it is only 10 minutes by car from Jct.1 on the M27.

This beautiful country house is set in 8 acres of landscaped gardens and is registered for 48 residents. It provides general nursing care for Clients over 60, plus respite, specialist palliative care and physically disabled nursing care for clients from 18 years and over.

Amenities

The home features spacious bedrooms, an oak paneled dining room, plus a second dining room, which can be booked for private use.

There is also a light and airy lounge, an elegant library and a relaxing conservatory with access to a sensory courtyard garden, plus magnificent grounds, and comfortable seating areas.

A professional kitchen provides freshly prepared meals on a daily basis.

We have 4 specialist bathrooms and 2 shower / wet rooms.

Activities

Our specialist activities co-coordinator manages an on-going programme of group or individual entertainment activities both inside and outside the home. Theme days are a popular feature supported by our kitchen, which creates themed meals to suit.

Plus our mini-bus runs regular trips to the local towns, pubs, garden centres, theatre and particular places of interest to our residents.

Hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, dental and optical services plus a visiting library are all available within the home.
