Description:
Cavendish Care Home
Cavendish Care Home is an elegant Victorian 24 bedded family run home registered for residential dementia care and is set in it’s own grounds on the Stroud Road in Gloucester. Within easy walking distance are local shops, church and parks, and a regular bus into the City Centre.
Cavendish Care Home benefits from an experienced staff group with many staff members having had a number of years service within the home. This means the reliance on agency staff is minimal which is excellent as residents get to know staff well and enjoy familiar faces everyday. Senior care staff are in 24 hour attendance together with a full time Home Manager.
Our Care Ethos
Our home is the ‘resident’s home’ and as such, each resident is treated with respect and dignity in a secure and comfortable environment and with the highest regard to their individuality, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social needs.
Regular resident/relative meetings are held in order to discuss all aspects of daily living within the home and resident’s family and friends are encouraged to visit the home on a regular basis.
It is a very important decision if you are considering a home for a close relative, so whether you would like to visit the home or just phone for a chat or more information, we would be delighted to answer your queries.

The home offers a bright and spacious lounge, showcasing the period features, which overlooks the front garden. A further lounge together with a dining area is located at the rear of the property with patio doors accessing the back garden.
A safe enclosed rear garden is available for residents to sit and relax on warm spring days or in the summer months.
