Our home is one of the few remaining privately family run homes in the UK. Philip and Gaynor Woods opened Cheverells in April of 1985, with the mission to provide the best quality care in the most comfortable surroundings.
Our caring staff are trained up to and including NVQ level 3, with advanced training available for all staff. We also have visiting doctors, chiropodists, hairdressers and active fitness trainers who together support our home in creating an environment where medical and social needs can be accommodated.
We have 37 bedrooms all with ensuite facilities. Their sizing is well above national standards, with all single rooms being double in size.
We maintain and welcome regular inspections from local and national inspection groups including annual inspections from CQC & Devon County Council.
